Tech Mahindra and Google Cloud Partner to Accelerate Generative AI Adoption
In a move set to advance digital transformation, Tech Mahindra and Google Cloud announced a strategic alliance aimed at boosting the adoption of generative AI (GenAI) across various entities of Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M). This partnership marks a significant step towards integrating advanced AI and machine learning technologies into M&M’s operations, spanning engineering, supply chain management, pre-sales, and after-sales services.
Tech Mahindra will utilize AI and ML technologies to optimize key aspects of M&M’s business processes. According to Rucha Nanavati, Chief Information Officer at Mahindra Group, "The collaboration with Google Cloud is pivotal in setting new benchmarks for customer experience through the application of AI-driven insights".
Google Cloud will assist M&M in detecting anomalies during manufacturing, thereby ensuring operational reliability, enhancing energy efficiency, and improving vehicle safety. These advancements are expected to elevate the overall customer experience significantly. Bikram Singh Bedi, Vice President and Country Managing Director at Google Cloud, stated, “Our commitment is to provide M&M with secure cloud infrastructure and cutting-edge AI tools to support their digital transformation journey”.
In addition to anomaly detection, M&M and Tech Mahindra will leverage Google Cloud’s AI technologies to create AI-powered applications for critical business functions. Tech Mahindra will also handle various workloads, including enterprise applications and simulator workloads, as part of this initiative.
Tech Mahindra’s Chief Operating Officer, Atul Soneja, emphasized that the partnership underscores their dedication to helping enterprises scale rapidly. “Access to integrated data platforms and cloud-based solutions is crucial for driving innovation and deriving valuable insights”, Soneja noted.
In 2023, Tech Mahindra set up a delivery center in Guadalajara, Mexico, focused on Google Cloud-centric solutions to aid customers in modernizing infrastructure and managing workloads with advanced Cloud Native and Open-Source technologies.
