Voice Search Directly From the Lock Screen
Want to surf Google very quickly? Marshmallow makes it possible. The bottom corner shortcuts in lock screen of Android version of Lollipop displayed camera and dialer, Marshmallow replaces the dialer shortcut with Google’s voice search. Four colored dots float, become a waveform and then rotate as your voice request is picked up and processed. Depending upon the complexity of the terms that need to be searched and the internet speed the response rate varies. Also, apps can be launched using the voice search.
