BENGALURU: Earlier this year Microsoft released the ‘Windows 10’ and offered free updates to Windows 8.1 users. Following this development the company released Office app for Windows 10 users and now it is releasing office 2016 for Windows and final edition for Mac users. The release is expected in the month of September.
The global tech giant Microsoft has released the first look of MS Office 2016 for windows edition. The Microsoft’s Office suit is being widely used for official and personal use for documentation, according to some report MS office is being used by more than one billion people in the world. The last version released was MS office 2013 released in 2012. The Mac version of 2016 was released on 9th July of this year, as reported by IBN Live.
The MS Office 2016 is expected to be added with few combined features like real time typing, new chart in excel, Insights in Excel and PowerPoint, tell me, converting hand written equations to text and Skype. Previews also say that the new version may also be based the ‘Cloud,’ which is Microsoft’s another tech kid. However the ‘Cloud’ option was given with earlier version MS Office 2016 for Mac and ‘Tell Me’ is a new search tool, that is added for document searching.
The new version is available at the price of U.S. $ 70 for either Mac or Windows and U.S. $ 100 for all kinds of subscription. However, mobile apps are free with some limited features and additional charges apply for complete subscription.
