Saudi International Exhibition and Conference for Internet of Things (Saudi IoT) and the co-located Event Cyber Defence Summitwas organized concurrentlyfrom 8th to 10th March 2020 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center.Despite the COVID-19 outbreak New Horizon hosted 11,379 visitors, 30 Sponsors, 100 Exhibitors, 90 Speakers from 22 Countries over the 3 days,making it truly aglobal gathering& a glimpse of a successful event throughout the 3day event.
This year's results were hit by the COVID -19, despite all oddswith the immense support from the partners and sponsors, New Horizon could pull off the event successfully. During the pandemic, the attendance of the Key dignitaries from King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology and Ministry of Communications & Information Technology was the major highlight of the event. H.E Eng. Abdullah Al-Swaha, Minister of MCIT,Dr. Anas Bin Faris AlFaris, the Presidentof KACST and Eng. Majed Al Otaibi, from Mobily did the honours at the grand inauguration along withthe senior members of their respective organizations.
Saudi IoT featured INNO CUBE; a busy Start-up Centriole with almost 20 entrepreneurs showcasing their innovative products and solutions.Live Pepcom featuring the tech-talks, demonstrations, presentations & live interaction with the audience and Research Cynosure packed with tech-enthusiasts from the university students, professors, researchers presenting their research papers and technological breakthroughs.
