Ripples that Followed the Splashing Pokemon Go
It is pretty rewarding
Well, that is pretty much how every game works; they reward players for their supposed efforts. Pokémon Go on the other hand apparently contributes by getting ‘lazy’ gamers off their seats. People walk long distance in pursuit of catching Pokémon. So it is not entirely a nonsense notion to argue that it also rewards players in terms of calorie burning. The game has also leveraged the social sense of community and intents to interact among users.
Locals sense business opportunities
Not all folks considered Pokémon Go players as mere trespassers. People began setting up lemonade stalls at their lawns to serve potentially tired ‘catchers’. Revenue can also be tapped from providing Wi-Fi and phone charging facilities. Apparently, small businesses such as restaurants and bars can even submit a request form (to Nintantic – the creator company of the game) to get a PokéStop or Gym at their location to drive in people. A PokéStop is a place to congregate for special Pokémon, eggs, and other treats. They’re noted by a blue cube on the player’s map. Gyms are places where players go to battle other players with their Pokémon. Where there are people, there are always opportunities for business.
