BANGALORE: Google has officially revealed the Nexus 6—one can say that this Motorola built 6-inch Smartphone sports some serious power along with the newly launched Android 5.0. Revealed alongside the Nexus 9 tablet and Nexus Player media streamer in a typically low-key blog post, let’s see how the Smartphone fares in terms of specs along with the price in India and the expected launch date, reports NDTV.

Google has yet to say exactly when we can expect the Nexus 6 to come out, but the good thing is that the phone is listed out on Flipkart as 'Coming Soon'. When launched the Google Nexus 6 is set to be priced in India within the price range of 44,000 and 50,000, with the 32GB model being priced at the lower end of that range and the 64GB becoming available as the top end.

As for the device, it’s built by Motorola and borrows design heavily from the company's own 2nd generation Moto X smartphone. The two phones look almost similar in terms of shape and design, with less prominent Motorola branding and a large Nexus logo on the back of the Google handset.

In terms of hardware, The 6in display is equipped with a QHD, 2,560x1,440 resolution panel, resulting in a display density of 493 pixels per inch and uses AMOLED technology, which should produce vibrant colors and rich color, when showing darker images compared to LCD.

Powered by 805 series Snapdragon CPU, the device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop. It comes packed with 32/64GB storage capacity and 3GB RAM and a 13MP main camera with Dual-LED flash, f2.0 aperture, 4K video recording, and 2MP front camera with HD video conferencing feature. The device also houses a 3,220mAh battery that should be good for over 24 hours of use from a single charge, but if you're running low the bundled Motorola Turbo Charger will let you add six hours worth of battery life in 15 minutes connected to the mains.

The Google Nexus 6, which is being manufactured by Motorola, will be available in India before December 10, with the launch date within this month also a possibility.
