Microsoft is an American multinational corporation that develops, manufactures, licenses, supports and sells computer software, consumer electronics and personal computers and services. According to a latest report, Microsoft revealed that its global female workforce grew to 29 percent in 2014, up from 24 percent in 2013.

Though Microsoft is growing at a slow pace in terms of female employment but the pay grades are pretty similar for both men and female employees. A Microsoft female senior software development engineer with an experience of 8.6 years gets $126,185 while a man gets $135,632 for an average 10.7 years of experience.
