Reliance Jio unveiled the JioTag Go, a compact Android-based tracker designed to work seamlessly with Google’s Find My Device network. This coin-sized device allows users to track essential items such as keys, wallets, and luggage, providing semi-real-time location updates.
The JioTag Go boasts an impressive battery life of up to 365 days, and its battery is replaceable, ensuring longevity. Weighing just 9 grams, the tracker features a built-in speaker that can emit sounds up to 120 decibels, aiding users in locating attached items.
Compatible with any Android device, the JioTag Go pairs through the Google Find My Device app. Users can track their items even outside Bluetooth range by checking the last detected location and time, which is frequently updated. The device also offers a ‘Get Directions’ feature, allowing users to navigate to their JioTag Go via maps. Once in proximity, the tracker connects automatically to the phone, enabling users to tap ‘Play Sound’ to locate it easily.
To set up the JioTag Go, users need to install the Google Find My Device app from the Google Play Store. After turning on the JioTag Go near their phone, a FastPair popup will appear for connection. Users must read the terms of use and click ‘Agree and continue’ to complete the setup.
Priced at Rs 1,499, the JioTag Go is available on Amazon, JioMart, and at Reliance Digital and My Jio Stores. It comes in four colors, including black and white. This launch follows Jio's introduction of the JioTag Air for iOS, which integrates with the Apple Find My Network.
