Reality Check: 9 Things That Apple "Missed" Big Time

#6 Apple Tried to Convince People That iPhone 4 didn’t Have an Antenna Issue

Since the iPhone 4’s antenna circled the outside of the device, it fell prey to a “death grip” which caused the signal to drop when a user’s hand accidentally bridged the separate parts of the antenna band. But this issue was completed ignored by Apple and said that using a bumper or any other case fixed the problem.

#7 Apple Used To Mock Phablets

During an Apple press conference in 2010, Steve Jobs famously mocked larger phones, saying that it’s tough to get your hands around these big sized phablets and "No one is going to buy that."

But of course, Apple eventually realized that they got it all wrong and many people wanted a larger iPhone. In 2012, it released the iPhone 5 with a 3.99-inch display which is bigger than the 3.5-inch display on all its previous models. In addition, last month, the company released the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus.
