• Pinterest introduces AI powered tools ‘Styled for You’ and ‘Boards Made for You’

Pinterest is enhancing user experience with a fresh wave of AI powered features designed to make its boards more personal, engaging, and shopping-friendly. The platform announced two major additions, ‘Styled for You’ and ‘Boards Made for You’, that use artificial intelligence to curate and organize content based on each user’s preferences.

The 'Styled for You' feature helps users mix and match fashion items from their saved Pins to create new outfit ideas. By selecting an item within the collage, users can browse AI-generated style suggestions that complement their personal taste.

Meanwhile, 'Boards Made for You' offers AI-curated boards that blend editorial insights with smart recommendations. These personalized boards highlight trending styles, weekly outfit inspirations, and shoppable looks appearing directly in users’ feeds and inboxes.

Currently, the new tools are being tested in the US and Canada, with a broader rollout expected in the coming months. Pinterest says the goal is to transform traditional boards into dynamic, discovery-driven spaces for style exploration and shopping.

The company’s CEO, Bill Ready, emphasized that this move supports Pinterest’s larger ambition to evolve into an 'AI-enabled shopping assistant'.  Alongside these upgrades, Pinterest is also refining content controls, including labels for AI-generated images and new organizational tabs that automatically categorize Pins.

With these updates, Pinterest aims to create a more seamless, personalized, and trustworthy environment for its global community of creators and shoppers.
