BENGALURU: After the success of OnePlus X, now OnePlus is launching yet another edition of OnePlus X called the OnePlus X champagne edition. Now, users with an OnePlus X invite Onyx variant can purchase the Smartphone via Amazon India, according to firstpost.com.

Starting today’s midnight, the brand-new Champagne edition which will go on sale on Amazon India. Those who have the existing invites for the OnePlus X, can be used to redeem either the Onyx or the Champagne versions. However the OnePlus X is the cheapest smart phone from Chinese tech startup yet. All-in-all, the handset features metal and glass unibody design with a 5-inch full HD AMOLED display with a pixel density of 441ppi.

Under the hood, the OnePlus X is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.3 Ghz, coupled with a 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The device also sports a 13MP rear camera along with an 8MP front facing camera. The dual SIM smart phone includes a 2525mAh battery. The OnePlus X runs Oxygen OS based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

The company has also announced that the OnePlus X will be available for purchase without invites and will have open sales every Tuesday. However, this only applies for global customers who can purchase the device without going through the stress of an invite. It is likely that a limited quantity of devices will be up for grabs every week.  However, the open sale on every Tuesday for the OnePlus X does apply to Indian consumers.
