Now Watch YouTube In A Language You Like, The Total List Adds Upto 76
BANGALORE: To make video accessibility cross all geographical boundaries, YouTube developers are lately supporting 15 more languages.
With this step, the total number of languages supported by YouTube now reaches 76. The main objective is to increase the number of users.
This extension in language coverage makes the Google’s official video browser cover almost 96 perfect of native languages of Internet users. The attempt will witness true colors as YouTube confirms 95pct of its users to be native language users.
The initiative is mainly to allow users who do not know English, to surf YouTube at ease.
To make this plan elaborate, YouTube can translate its links, buttons and text to 76 languages.
However, few changes have already been incorporated in the YouTube interface. This new layout will replace the solid control bar at the bottom of the video with a gradient and much simplified icon. Tweaks have also been added to the new YouTube menu. For better visual quality, YouTube animations have been altered. With bigger and bolder icons, this new YouTube look has toggles for auto play and annotations.
The new languages that have been added according to Tech tree are:
Azerbaijani, Armenian , Georgian , Kazakh , Khmer, Kirghiz -, Lao , Macedonian, Mongolian - , Myanmar (Burmese) , Nepali, Punjabi -, Sinhala , Albanian , Uzbek.
