Now Get Access To 12 More Cities On Your Google Maps


BENGALURU:  A Stranger In a new city like Chennai was able to find the place he needs to go fast enough using Google Maps but the same person finds it difficult when he goes to other cities like Coimbatore or Kolkata. So putting a break to this Google maps has recently introduced traffic information to 12 more cities, that gives relief to the citizens in Bhopal, Ludhiana, Lucknow, Surat, Indore, Kolkata, Nagpur, Visakhapatnam, Thiruvananthapuram, Madurai, Coimbatore and Kochi.

By this addition Google will now be letting users to get the traffic information across 34 major cities and all the highways in India which is available both in mobile and desktop versions as reported by tech2.

The users are made available with different options of seeing real time traffic and the different speed of traffic on the roads in traffic mode, indicated by three different colors that are Green- no traffic delays, Orange- medium amount of traffic, and Red- Heavier traffic. In Navigation mode the accurate estimated time of arrival and the alternate faster routes are made available.

“We’re constantly working on making Google Maps a more comprehensive, daily tool for Indians, and we hope that this new real-time traffic information for 12 cities and all national highways will help drivers across the country find the best routes to their destinations with the fewest delays,” said Suren Ruhela, Director, Program Management, Google.
