Microsoft Launches Indian Version of Cortana
BENGALURU: The global tech giant Microsoft has taken up the human interface with smart devices to a higher scale and it is verbal assistance. Yes! Microsoft Cortona, which is already trending in some of the countries, will now be available in India shortly, as reported by the Gadgets 360.
Cortona is actually a voice based intelligent personal assistance for smart devices featuring latest windows operating system, created by the Microsoft. The respective software will help its users in finding things on PC, managing calendar, tracking packages, finding files, chats with the user, and tells jokes. The more you use Cortana, the more personalized your experience will be.
The software is available with the November month update and as per the Microsoft. Apart from English, the software is available is 5 different languages (French, German, Chinese, Italian and Spanish) and the Indian software is molded as per the Indian accent. The Indian version is added with Indian voices featuring improved India-specific knowledge bases and some more added feathers.
The company also said that the software will also work with various other apps and does functions like booking tickets online for movies using BookMyShow app, have a look at your emails to jog your memory about the forthcoming events, and can swiftly reorganize the conference. The ability to take a selfie with voice commands is supposed to be crafted soon.
Microsoft released preview version of the Cortana in September and stated will work on improving the software for the Indian requirements.
