BENGALURU: Microsoft came up with much awaited news for the Xbox owners. With the launch of Xbox One, the old games which belonged to Xbox 360 would have been left in ruins, if the company did not allow backward portability, reports MSN.

However, making the Xbox 360 games compatible with Xbox One is not the only good news. There are new features of the latest gaming console from Microsoft that allows the user to access the Xbox games on a Windows 10 PC as well.

There will be no loss to the game’s performance when the user migrates his games from Xbox 360 to Xbox One as all the scores and achievements will be saved in Xbox Live Gamer Profile. Microsoft will also be allowing the members to take part in the Xbox One preview program.

The perks of becoming a preview member is that the user will get to experience the new functionality of Xbox One like multiplayer, chat, snap mode, and more. However, the user will find a familiar interface as that of Windows 10 on Xbox One.
