Is India Ready For Mark Zuckerberg's 'Digital India' Initiative?


For Facebook to keep them captivated and not lose this audience they will need to keep giving them something out of the box. That will be a task that Mark Zuckerberg will have to focus on.

Localization:

Another huge challenge for Facebook is that they will have to work with the needs of the people of India in relation to the localization of the technology. What this basically means is that, Facebook will have to cater local language, ideology, religion and cultural set up to grab the attention of the people at the grass root level.

There is news of modernization but that will not be an answer when it comes to grabbing the attention of the young people who are still stuck with the ideas of culture and belief.

Opportunity:

With everything said there is also the need to create opportunities for the ratification and growth of the younger generation. There must be the integration of the “give and take” philosophy.

Facebook may work with the government but the people will also look for areas where they can grab an opportunity to work with social networking giants. If opportunities are created, Facebook will have no worries at trying to woo the people of India, especially the youths of this nation.
