BANGALORE: Google would no more require to race against Google Play’s games, apps and digital products. The tech giant now owns an online store that would feature the company’s latest tech products. The new online store would serve as a platform for buying Google hardware from Nexus phones and Chrome Notebooks to Android Wear and Nest devices. The list will also include accessories, keyboards, chargers, cases and much more.
Google store aims to meet the expectations of customers of an online store. The products will be categorized according to respective sections. On surfing through the sections the users will be offered with further options. The store will also offer specs, features and accessories available for particular devices.
This venture would aid the company to widen its presence in the retail sector. In addition to this, the store will extend the consumer brands. This store idea is, however, not a new advance. Nevertheless, the consumers can hardly wait to buy Android, Chrome and other Google devices on the same web platform.
Play Store will continue to be the stop for buying the content for devices but the company’s hardware will be available through this new online store. Details of the previous purchases from the Play Store will automatically make way to Google Store.
Google commented, “As we’ve added more products to the family, we thought it was time to make it easier for you to learn more about them.”
