India's First AI Cradle 'Cradlewise' Launched by Pimpri-Chinchwad Engineer

Pimpri-Chinchwad's young engineer has invented the world's first automated cradle based on artificial intelligence (AI), which goes by the name of 'The Cradlewise'. This intelligent cradle has been patented in India and the United States and is now up for sale in Indian markets. Cradlewise, the company founded by Radhika Patil from Pimpri-Chinchwad and her husband Bharat Patil, has come up with this innovation.
In this day and age, wherein both parents in most families work, child care is now a huge problem. Lack of sleep affects the physical and mental development of children. With this, The Cradlewise a secure, accurate, and automated cradle is a big help for parents. The cradle senses the movement of the baby and immediately alerts the parents via a mobile app. Even before the baby begins to cry, the cradle softly sways, solving sleep problems and enabling parents to get enough rest too.
The cradle uses AI technology, high-definition cameras, and precise sensors to monitor the baby's every movement closely. Its functioning is so quiet that the baby does not get disturbed and sleeps peacefully. Parents can control the cradle from their smartphone, making it convenient. Also, it has received necessary safety certifications such as JPMA and GREENGUARD from the United States, which are regarded as standards for product quality and safety, particularly for products intended for young children.
At a media conference organized in Pimpri, Cradlewise Project Manager Kiran Byahatti gave an elaborated presentation regarding the product. Byahatti explained that the cradle can be utilized up to the age of 24 months for the baby, greatly benefitting the child's growth and assisting busy parents in closely monitoring their children amid their busy schedules.
The idea behind Cradlewise was born out of Radhika and Bharat Patil's own experience as new parents in 2018. The new parent struggles of baby care coupled with sleep deprivation and round-the-clock worrying prompted the couple to look into tech-based solutions. Their endeavors bred the Cradlewise. Radhika Patil, daughter of celebrated surgeon
Dr. Nitin Gandhi, finished her studies in Pimpri-Chinchwad after which she went to Pune's COEP. Radhika and Bharat both did their higher studies at the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru.
Some of the experts involved in this innovative project are Dr. Chitra Akileswaran, who is an award certified gynaecologist in the US, and Dr. Anup Rao, a neonatologist from Stanford University. The product has already helped thousands of families all over the United States and Canada, giving more than 25 million hours of quiet sleep to babies, as reported by the company. Now that it is available in India, Indian families can also gain from this innovation.
The reference to this revolutionary cradle has brought praise from leading personalities like Sam Altman, a world researcher and co-founder of OpenAI and X (formerly Twitter), who bought the cradle himself. Altman congratulated Radhika and Bharat Patil and wished them all the best for their success. This feat is regarded as a reflection of empowered women of modern India and innovative entrepreneurship.
