BANGALORE: Are you tired of your 2G, 3G and 4G network speeds? Are you ready for a faster connection? Well, get ready because the 5G connection is just around the corner and it is really fast. The production and manufacturing of the product has not started as various companies are still putting together the algorithms for it but Huawei seems to have found the solution reports Tech Radar.
5G is the next antenna or otherwise called as Ultra Node or tactile internet. It can be fitted on roof tops or better yet set like a lamppost at the corner of a room. It looks like a mini cell tower. Experts are still not completely sure about the speed it can offer but they say that it will be able to download 8k resolution movies within seconds, that’s right, seconds. It will be able to deliver rapid speed of 10 Gbps.
If you were to compare 5G with other available connections, then there will be better coverage, enhanced signaling, better spectral efficiency, simultaneously connections to more than ten people, and above all highest speeds of connectivity.
This new antenna will have many other unspecified services, but at the moment that are not available with the present connections. It will offer real time gaming, streaming 3D videos VR and seamless streaming with incredible speeds. This will not only benefit mobiles but everything that is internet enabled. This connection can be directed to just about anything.
5G connection was displayed in China, there was a demonstration of how the connection was routed to a car and the car was able to avoid last minute collision. This is just one of the capabilities of the new 5G connection. With inputs from Tech Radar, the 5G connection routers are said to be in the market by 2020, if not even earlier. The final standards will be ready by 2016 and then Huawei plans to start the process of manufacturing them. This is something to look out for in the next few years.
