It helps you work smarter, provides opportunities for creative thinking and helps you identify the potential threats to your business. And so is the belief of Google that claims Amazon as their biggest competitor.
Google chairman Eric Schmidt admitted in a speech in Berlin that, “Many people think our main competition is Bing or Yahoo. But, really, our biggest search competitor is Amazon. They are obviously more focused on the commerce side of the equation, but, at their roots, they are answering users' questions and searches, just as we are,” reports BBC News.
A run to win is brewing between the two web giants Google and Amazon for acquiring the online shopping markets.
With all respect, Google is the king of search; but when it comes to purchase, Google is not the first priority for the users, and fairly Amazon is the first thought that comes in mind.
