Gionee's Marathon M3 Quietly Enters the Indian Market


BENGALURU: “Never fear running out of power, talk till you run out of things to talk about” says Gionee. Its new Marathon M3, which is Gionee’s successor to M2 Smartphone has made a debut on eBay in India. Its Massive 5,000mAh battery occupies the spotlight and it is available in just an average price range Rs 13,999 like many other Smartphones in the market today.

Most awaited 5,000mAh battery promises 51 hours of 2G Talktime and 32 hours of 3G Talktime, now a user can go for 2-3 days without having to worry about battery in the phone. That’s not it about M3, the phone flaunts a 5-inch 720p IPS HD display along with OGS (One Glass Solution) properties. M3 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and comes powered by a quad core 1.3GHz Cortex A7 Mediatek processor, including 2GB RAM.

M3 comes with a plethora of gifts to the customers. It offers 8GB onboard space and a microSD card support to expandable up to 128GB. The phone carries an 8MP rear snapper with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera.

Added to the above exciting features M3’s connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, WLAN Direct, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio and Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP.

The handset measures about 144.5×71.45×10.4mm and weighs 180.29 grams.
