Future Exploration Begins At Google With Its 7 New Projects
# Self-driving car
Earlier in 2014, Google started experimenting on cars to devoid it of its steering and giving it a run driverless. In May 2014 Google unveiled the prototype to the first ever driverless car which runs at 40 km per hr with two seats to accommodate. Though the prototype was availed, Sergey Brin who heads Google X said that they may be available in 2017 to open roads.
Though in its earlier stages, the driverless car has already earned some rep, as to reports some countries like Germany, U.S. have changed regulations or made up new ones to intercept the cars.
# Smart contact lens
Pharma Company NOVATIS joined hands with Google, which leaves us imagining Google entering the medical field into making pharmaceuticals. No, the train of thought might not be fully wrong as Google has come up with a smart contact lens with a wireless chip which can measure the glucose levels in a human body.
The company is in thought to attach an LED also so that it blinks while the Glucose levels variate at high or low levels. Announced in 2014, the smart lens has already bagged in, so awaiting its release is what we are left with.
