BENGALURU: The Swift from the Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 isn’t just going to be an upgrade on the Windows handsets, but a whole new level which ditches the word “Phone” on the description actually.

This brings a new advantage for the big screen tablets to run the complete Windows 10 operating system on it rather than a stripped down mobile version. So, what’s more on the new Windows 10? Here are 6 things to know about the Windows 10 as compiled by the Times Of India.  

# Actual Office, Universal Apps On The Phone

This Initiative  to make Windows 10 platform almost a nonbeliever was shown better with the two of Microsoft's Office apps—Word and PowerPoint. A Word file was opened in the page layout mode and the reflow mode on it enhances everything for a perfect mobile editing environment on the phone.

The PowerPoint shows a set of full editing tools that come in handy, but what Microsoft was keen on showing here was that it's easy to project a slideshow using a Smartphone and wirelessly through Mircast.

On the other hand, the Windows 10 is all about universal apps on the OS which ranges from the all-new Outlook mail, Calendar and Project Spartan apps said to replace the Internet explorer.

Evidently, for the OS to do well in the market more app developers need to contribute more to the app store with new applications which needs to be much more than they did on the Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone 8.1.
