Various military forces around the world use VR simulators to train soldiers and provide realistic training in order to mitigate risk. The first-ever, fully immersive virtual simulation training system for the US Military is being fielded at Fort Bragg. This facility uses the Dismounted Soldier Training System (DSTS), a wearable VR system used to teach troops tactics and teamwork inside a virtual environment. Moreover, non commercial versions of games like Battlespace 2 and Unity 3D prepares troops for combat.
