Use social media to its full extent; if your organic search results don’t list highly, some of your social media presences might. For example, even if your readership doesn’t normally include people who use Google plus, it’s likely to show up in high rankings in Google’s web crawling algorithm.

If you have inactive web pages then it’s better to delete or replace them instead of letting it stay because search engines count for quality more than quantity.

Also, it doesn’t matter if the analytics on your webpage don’t show very high engagement; many search engines don’t take these factors into consideration.
