Apple's 12-inch Macbook To Have A Thinner Design: Report

BANGALORE: Rumors suggest that Apple has been working on a 12-inch screen Macbook Air, and there are lot more details on what to expect on it, Reports Business Insider.

According to Jack March, the 12-inch Macbook will be released in the Mid-2015 with a "noticeably thinner design," which will be done by giving up the internal fans on the Mac favoring the processor on it. The 12-inch Mac will be available in Space grey, Silver and gold color options.

However, March also claims that the 12-inch MacBook Air will leave behind the Apple's MagSafe charging port, and will charge in "a different way to what we've seen in current Macs. Apple is also changing the standard USB ports for the new, reversible "Type C" USB ones. Previously we saw reports that this type of USB would be used on the iPhone 6, but that was not to be found on that.

The Previous MacBook Air models have also had a larger bezel bordering on the screen, and March claims that the new 12-inch Macbook model will adopt a thinner bezel. The speaker placement may also move from below the keyboard to the top of the Macbook and he also says that the new MacBook Air's keyboard "leaves almost no space on the side."
