Apple WWDC 2015: The Imitation Game


BANGALORE: Apple’s WWDC started on a high note with eager people waiting as to what the company has in store for them this time. There were many products and features revealed and what can be said of the launch is a slew of products to crib competition.

And the best way to nip the competition is not by creating something new but by imitating them on their base making the best of what the other has done or needs to done. Apple’s take-on starts with Google the special rival moving to others killing the competition in their own bases, reports Gizmodo.

Apple Music

Apple Music is the answer to Spotify, Google Music, Pandora and Tidal. Last year Apple bought Beats for $3 Billion, and the new music streaming service is its revamped version in Apple’s trademark make.

Spotify and Google Music as of now are quite ahead in terms of fan-base, collection and everything, Apple have a long way to go before it makes with them. But there is another mantra behind the Music’s success that is the Apple brand and as survey reports suggest most users around the world are in mood to turn their Smartphone loyalty to the Cupertino giant.

With Beats 1 radio station, Apple is targeting Pandora to turn the tune of audience towards it and in the line of radio streaming service Tidal may also face the brunt.
