Apple Mac 12-inches v/s Dell, Lenovo and Asus

Performance

The 12-inch device uses Intel’s low power Core M processor, which may not be powerful in its range, but maybe powerful enough for basic use and other web related tasks. It runs on 1.6-GHz Intel Core i5 processor, while Dell and the Lenovo Think pad X1 Carbon come with a choice of both Core i5 and i7 CPUs, which in a way provide better performance than the Core M.

Port

The Macbook is the first device in its segment to use a USB type C connector, which makes it easy for the buyer to use a third party charger, even if it is not authorized by Apple.

The Asus ZenBook and Dell have SD card readers, while the UX395 comes with 3 USB ports and a micro HDMI out. The XPS 13 comes with two USB ports, a mini display port out while the Carbon X1 comes with a full-size HDMI port and a mini display port.

Value

This new device is being sold at a cost of 99,990. It is rightfully deserved because of its slim design. It also features 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD.

The Dell non-touch version is also a good alternative for those who don’t prefer a Windows operating system, which is priced at 99,990. It comes with 128GB storage and 4GB RAM. The Asus ZenBook is available at 72,999 which comes with a 256GB SSD and 8GB RAM.
