Android Wear Will Get Wi-Fi Support, Gesture Control In Next Software Release
BANGALORE: On one side Google is trying to stabilize its android watches in market while on the other side, Apple is carrying plans to trample in the market with Apple Watch, reports TheVerge.
Both the tech-giants’ chances in the market can’t be compared as they have their own set of users, but there is also fear of users shifting to the next best available option.
In order to brighten the chances of android watches in market, Google has released some updates that will enable some distinguished features.
The update activates the Wi-Fi feature in the watches that is programmed during its pre-built. Followed with two additional smaller updates, the first one being gesture control endows the users to browse notifications just with a flick of the wrist.
The second being Google Now cards to swipe the screen rather than using hands to do, also the user interface will be adjusted to appraise easier access to applications and contacts. Otherwise finding applications and contacts on Android wear needs either specific spoken commands or search after it.
With Google's shore established, Apple revealed the knowable features of smart watch which provides a robust collection of apps and services. This sort of reprisal from Apple will cut back in the head start that Google had.
The users who are in with Android wear cannot use Apple watch and the same happens in reverse case. In order to maintain their shape in market both should share feature equality.
In the absence of which the other company might face their loyal customers leaving for better, as there are also other options available in market.
