 Several companies have begun the race to place robots as companions for humans. A live sex doll that could learn its owner’s desires and partner in fetishes; or an electronic pet that can mingle playfully having smileys as display of its emotions, could take human machine bonding to a new level bypassing the boundaries of interface. Currently people are hyped by the one sided hope of having a playmate that would neither complain of not achieving orgasm nor losing potency. Only time can reveal the truth and toll it would take on human life.
