BENGALURU: Deep Neural Networks could be one of the biggest milestones in Artificial Intelligence. Feeding off Big Data to adopt a self learning approach, the technology mimics the brain patterns and takes away the herculean task of coders to develop learning algorithms. Developers may only be able to tweak its learning behavior through trial and error approach and it’s almost impossible to tell exactly how a neural network does what it does. And that’s the catch; the technology harbors a point beyond which we could no longer exert control over AI. A point, which in time, through exponential development could swell to a gap human wouldn’t be able to leap over.
