World's Largest & Diverse Hackathon 'Humane Code' to be held from November 29


Global hackathon “Humane Code”, an effort by global coding communities to solve problems faced by humanity has so far attained distinction of being the largest and most diverse hackathons ever held. Top 20 entries shall get total prize money of $20800 and a chance to visit Bengaluru during the Summit.

Theme of the event is ‘INNOVATION & IMPACT’ and it will witness the participation of countries like Finland, France, Germany, Netherlands,Estonia,Japan, Australia and Czech Republic.The major highlight of this year’s conference is India’s biggest Start-up zone, a platform for companies to showcase their innovation, meet tech founders, innovation executives and investors to build partnerships and shape the future.

The Start-up zone is expected to have 200 plus start-ups and 3000 delegates. Top technology experts from India and globally, futurists, policy makers, thought leaders, research heads and other industry officials from across the globe are also expected to participate. Also, Path-breaking initiatives such as Bio-Excellence Awards, Showstoppers (Product Launch), Wall of Fame, Innovation Zones, Conferences will be witnessed this year.

The Government of Karnataka is playing a vital role in supporting the IT, ITES and ESDM industry not only in policy implementation & monitoring but also in providing various technology & communication services which includes internet, datacentre, hosting, technology consultation, IT security audit, support for e-Governance etc.

“The Karnataka Government has always been on a continuous quest to encourage innovations and this Summit is one step to ignite that spark and enthuse people about entrepreneurship. The event also aims to leverage technology as a catalyst to boost entrepreneurship in the state and enable business-to-business meet ups” says Shri. K.J. George, Minister for Large & Medium Scale Industries, Sugar, IT & BT, and Science &Technology, Govt of Karnataka.

This year’s theme being “Innovation & Impact”, we are looking forward to further clout the R&D bit and take technology to the next level”, says Smt. In addition to this, India’s biggest and most extravagant drone racing competition will take place at the Bengaluru Tech Summit this year where the top drone racing pilots in the country will face off to prove their racing skills in front of a huge audience.
