In this quotient both the operating systems are on the same level so a tie is the reasonable decision.
Windows has the start button redefined and all the search operations can be carried off from there itself and no need to even launch the browser. If you type something you need it displays there itself and in the case of documents it is easy just type the starting keywords and the file will be displayed right at the top, same is the case with images and others.
On the other hand, Apple has this search bar right at the top where you can type the name be it image, file, doc or folder it will be displayed right away.
