Whatsapp Calling On Its Way To Windows
BANGALORE: ‘Whatsapp Calling for your platform is still in the works’ this was the reply from the Whatsapp support to a user in regard to his query. This reply was given when he wanted to know the availability of Whatsapp for Windows platform, reports IndiaToday.
This confirms it officially without an announcement. Also when questioned about the exact date of release they sent a mail in reply saying ‘We cannot comment on any future release timelines but we appreciate your interest in Whatsapp calling’.
Till date the Whatsapp voice calling has been made available only to the Android users, so whether the feature will be coming up first in Windows or iOS is yet to be known.
As in a recent event that being Facebook F8 conference Brian Acton, co-founder of Whatsapp stated that the feature will be soon rolling out for iOS users.
In between the two iOS seems to have better chance at making it earlier as the announcement was part partial rather than a support team reply.
The voice calling feature came up in March with an invite window which gets with the app update, but later on went to be pre-installed.
In order to know who will be the first to make it among Windows or iOS time is the quotient, wait to know.
