BENGALURU: WhatsApp has introduced five new features for the iOS platform making communication even more convenient and efficient, reports The Financial Express. The new features include:

Save Media Option

With the introduction of the new button called ‘Save Media’, iPhone users can save incoming media such as images, videos for chat from close friends or families, where people might be sharing pictures that they actually wish to have on their iPhone.

Never Option

By turning the 'Never' option, WhatsApp iPhone users can avoid media files that they do not wish to save and can simply turn on or off button by default for future purposes.

In-chat Notifications

In the updated version of WhatsApp, iPhone users will be notified on incoming messages even when they are in the middle of a chat and even allow them to reply to it.

Quick Call Response

The messenger with its new update enables iPhone users to reply quickly to calls or messages by pulling in-app notification. Also, missed calls are now shown inside the chat instead of current tab.

Sharing PDFs

WhatsApp has now made it possible for iPhone users to share PDFs from others into the messenger.
