The World's First 'Layered' Smartphone: Lenovo Vibe X2


BENGALURU: Lenovo launched its First ‘Layered’ phone “Vibe X2” for 19,999 which will be exclusively available on e-commerce site Flipkart. The Vibe X2 is the first phone to be launched in India after  Lenovo’s deal with  Motorola, reports Gizmodo lead.

The specifications of the phone include a large 5-inches IPS display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and runs on the latest Android 4.4 Kitkat OS. On the camera side, the phone sports a 13 mega pixel rear shooter with a 5 mega pixel front facing one. The hardware is pretty strong too with an Octa-core processor clocking a speed of 2 GHz alongside a 2GB of RAM.

As far as the storage and battery life are concerned, the Vibe X2 comes with a 32GB  internal memory and is powered by a 2300 mAh battery which provides a talk time of 17 hours. The connectivity options include Bluetooth 3.0, 3G and Wi-Fi.  According to the Financial Express, the device also comes with a rare feature that allows users to take pictures by double tapping on the phone in sleep mode.

“Lenovo is innovating in the PC+ era focussing on smartphone growth opportunities. India is a prominent growth market for us,” Lenovo Group Vice President AP Sales Head JD Howard told.
