Summer Gets Hotter As Microsoft Is All Set To Launch Windows 10


BANGALORE: Microsoft announces the launch of their OS, Windows 10 this summer. With no official launch date mentioned, the Tech giant is all set to create a notion of Windows as a service.

In an interview with Indian Express, Ajey Mehta, Managing director of Microsoft said, “When we get ready with Windows 10 and our devices that will be the right time to launch it. However, it will be launched this summer, he added”.

After the launch of Windows 10, the company will introduce High-end segment devices, reports Indian Express.

The company plans to get One billion new customers with the new OS and is aiming for unity across various devices such as, desktops, mobiles and tablets. There will be no separate windows 10 OS and is hoping to restructure their apps, so that it becomes easy for developers from Mac, Linux, Android and IOS to bring their apps Into Windows 10.

Furthermore, Microsoft also released four new software developer kits such (SDKs) which will support apps such as Web, .Net and Win32, Android C++/Java and Apple iOS Objective C. This makes it easy for developers to re-package their apps to suit the Windows 10 OS.

Music and Video apps: The Company will introduce universal apps corresponding to Apple’s OS X, which is loaded with iTunes, Movie-maker and the Photos app. The Build Conference discussed the need for an upgrade of these apps, and as a result has decided to bring out a UX project to develop the existing app by proposing a series of design changes.
