Step 1: First, Update the WhatsApp version through Playstore to 2.12.5 or above.

Step 2: After updating it, a call from a friend who has the 2.12.5 version is needed.

Step 3: Receive the call, wait for few seconds and then disconnect it.

Step 4: Once you have done that, you can see a new tab “calls”.

When media files like images, video clips and audio files are automatically downloaded on to your phone it will always be an issue where it just eats up unnecessary space.

So to counter this issue, WhatsApp allows you to change your settings to pick and choose the pictures and media to be downloaded on the Smartphone.
