As the Ringo app which provided international calling service at cheaper rates from past one year, has now startled the telecom industry with its new development.

Ringo that was founded in 2014 is now available in 14 countries including India. Initially the company launched only international calling facilities but as per the latest news form the ET, the company has launched local calling facility and has assigned same rates for both local and STD calls.

The company has framed the structure of operation almost same as it framed for international calling facility and as claimed by the company, when a call is dialed through the app, it does not use data or talk time for its operation. In simple words, the company uses the local phone network to connect the calls.

As tagged by the company, all local and the national calls will be charged 19 paise/min and users can recharge their accounts through the app. Hence the app is expected to deliver the hitch-free experience to its customers who usually go through validity with recharge vouchers issues.
