Now Google Search Lets You Send Notes, Directions To Your Phone


BENGALURU: Each and every time Google is coming up with something new and innovative feature, starting from its homepage to it different software applications. Latest of its breakthroughs include new features from Google to send directions, notes, alarms and many more to your Android phone, reports SlashGear.

If one needs to send directions from web to their phone, they just need to type ‘Send Directions’ and then in the drop down menu there will be an option to ‘send directions to your phone.’ As a result, Google Map will automatically open your phone and you can easily navigate while being away from your desktop.

When it comes to being updated, Google stands at the top by reminding you of your duties. Google enabled a feature like ‘note to self’ or ‘send note,’ through which one can send a note to their phone via Google search. You just need to type ‘Note to self’ or ‘Send Note’ and add the text either in the desktop browser or the search query space, for example, “note to self appointment with doctor.”

One can also set alarms from the browser, just by typing ‘set an alarm’ and add the time and the alarm will be added to your Android phone.

In order to avail all these facilities, you should link you Android phone to Google. Additionally the latest version of Google app is necessary. One must not forget to enable the Google Now cards to get the proper notifications.

For now, this feature is only accessible at stateside and people outside the U.S. may use the app adding ‘&gl=US’ to the search URL.
