BENGALURU: Nokia recently completed a marvelous 150 years of driving the innovation forward for all humanity in the telecomunnications industry. Nokia mainly known for its mobile business and electronics was one of the first companies to bring the cellphone to regular consumers. 1865 – 1885
These were the forming years for Nokia Corporation. The name “Nokia” came from a Nokianvirta river near a town in Finland, where Nokia Company was formed initially. Prior to that Nokia was in the rubber business but was nearing bankruptcy due to less demand for its products.
