New Malware Attacks Apple Macs, iPads And iPhones


BENGALURU: Apple Handsets has always been the most sought after phones around the world. With its design, features and brand it is vied by many. With the tough competition in the SmartPhone market, Apple has been seen to struggle a bit to remain on the first spot of the consumers choice.

With recent spotting of some defaults in Apple handsets, the most recent of news of its handsets being vulnerable to malwares.

As reported by IBN, Cyber security software maker Palo Alto Networks said it discovered a new family of malware affecting Apple's OS X desktop and iOS mobile operating systems.

The new malware is named as WireLurker, and the Company in a statement said, " it marks a new era in malware across Apple's mobile and desktop platforms,"

WireLurker can install third-party applications on non-jailbroken iOS devices and can attack iOS devices through OS X via USB devices, the company added.
