NelsonHall Recognizes Atos a Leader in Big Data & Analytics Services Report

According to the recent report by NelsonHall, a global research and advisory firm, Atos, a leader in digital services, has been recognized as a ‘Leader’ for Big Data & Analytics Services. In its latest Vendor Evaluation & Assessment Tool (NEAT), Atos has been selected because of its strengths which include scales, and CEO-sponsored strategic initiatives across all Atos’ units.

Founded in 1998, NelsonHall, is a leading global BPS and ITS analyst firm, with an unrivaled BPO and outsourcing knowledge which covers an extensive range of business processes and industry sectors. Recently, NelsonHall NEAT vendor evaluation study analyzed 12 of the most significant service providers which excel in Big Data & Analytics services and Atos was recognized as the Leader in three categories: Operational Improvement Focus, New Business Model Focus, and Overall. The other major vendors evaluated for NEAT were Accenture, Infosys, TCS, TechMahindra, Wipro, Capgemini and many more.

Talking about the research, Dominique Raviart, IT services Practice Director, NelsonHall, says, “Within IT services, the share of spending related to mature offerings will decrease which means vendors are now challenged to grow expertise in high growth offerings such as big data and analytics. With Atos Codex, Atos has invested in new technologies, addresses challenges such as fragmentation of software tools, and has created a large number of industry use cases. Atos is also investing in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to bring further automation in analytics, and NelsonHall views this investment as very positive.”

Speaking about the achievement, Sean Narayanan, Executive Vice President for Business Platforms & Solutions, Atos, says, “We are proud to be recognized as a Global Leader in Big Data & Analytics Services by NelsonHall. This ranking further validates our expertise and commitment to deliver data-driven business transformation to our customers as part of our Digital Transformation Factory strategy.” Started in 1997, with the merging of two French-based IT services namely Axime and Sligos, formed Atos which specializes in hi-tech transactional services, unified communications, cloud, big data, and cybersecurity.
