Mobvista Claims that Ad Fraud is the Biggest Setback in the Growth of Digital Advertising

One of the banes that have come from this evolving advertising technology space is ad fraud. Ad fraud is an incredibly widespread problem for digital marketers and publishers across the globe and it is claimed that 8.7 percent of global ad-fraud happens in India.

Nowadays, scammers are getting increasingly sophisticated, it’s impossible to suggest that ad fraud can be completely stopped but there are ways for companies to mitigate the problems. To tackle the menace of ad fraud, industry has to work together to solve the problem. TrafficGuard’s report entitled ‘Addressing Ad Fraud through Multipoint Analysis & Machine Learning’, says that approximately one in 13 apps installs generated in the APAC region in 2018 were not installed from genuine users.
