LG Unveils the World's First 4K OLED TV in India

BENGALURU: Technology has come so far, you will agree with me once you look at LG’s worlds first 4K OLED TV unveiled in India. The 55-inch variant priced at 3,84,900 and the 65-inch model at 5,79,900 will soon be available in India, reports Tech2.

It will be a huge mistake if you judge the TV with its price tag; the TV is at its best in the technology. This curved TV with the display of 5.9mm thickness comes along with a transparent stand, a 3D and Harmin Kardon sound technology.

The TV is WRGB-based technology that has 33 million color sub-pixels, which offer better color contrast with the deeper blacks. It also has a maximum response time of 0.001ms for blur free viewing of images and videos, which is 1000 times better than a conventional LCD TV.

In addition, LG 4K OLED TV is a webOS smart TV that supports voice recognition and supports Wi-Fi, Miracast, MHL and Intel WiDi connectivity.

Howard Lee, Director-Home Entertainment, LG India, said of the new range, “Once again LG has proved that it is a frontrunner when it comes to innovative technology. With the LG 4K Oled TV, we promise consumers in India the ultimate immersive cinematic experience. Time and again we have initiated ground-breaking innovation and raised the bar not only for ourselves, but for the industry as well. This latest Oled TV underscores LG’s commitment to bringing the best in home entertainment to our consumers.”
