BENGALURU: For the very first time this year, Apple will let their upcoming OS, iOS 9 to power their iconic iPads, and iPhones. The new OS will carry a load futuristic features and improvements.

Anyone can sign up on Apple’s website to try the iOS 9 this July.  This means that you will be entitled to use Apple’s version of Siri, new public directions in Maps app and a new app for Apple Pay, reports TOI. However, Apple won’t officially release iOS 9 on all iPads, iPhones and iPods until the year end. It is an opt-program and is not meant for everyone. 

Speaking about the programs FAQ, the Company said, “Please note that since the public beta software has not yet been commercially released by Apple, it may contain errors or inaccuracies and may not function as well as commercially released software.   

"Be sure to back up your Mac using Time Machine and your iOS device with iTunes before installing beta software”, they further added.

iOS 9 will power Apple’s mobile devices including iPhone 4S, iPad Mini and iPod touch fifth-generation. This OS will allow users to open to apps including drag and drop within a ratio of 50:50 or 70:30 formats. This feature will be made available only for iPad Air 2, Air, mini 3 and mini 2.
