BENGALURU: Google Nexus 6 is now available for pre-orders in India via Flipkart reports NDTV gadgets. Yet the 'Devices' section of Google Play India still says 'Coming soon.' Flipkart stated that the release date is scheduled around second week of December. Those who want to get their hands on this most anticipated device can buck up now.

Google released the pricing of the Nexus 6 in India well in advance as well. The Nexus 6 32 GB variant has been priced at 44,000, while the 64GB variant has been priced at 49,000.

As of now, Flipkart's pricing for the 32GB and 64GB variants are the same as the official Google Play listing. The ecommerce site is also offering special offers to pre-order customers, such as a free three-month subscription to Flipkart First—a Smartphone exchange offer that can give a discount of up to 10,000, 1,500 cashback, 6 to 12-month EMI schemes via HDFC or ICICI banks, and pre-selected Flipkart ebooks worth 2,100 for free.

For a quick refresher, Google Nexus 6 is manufactured by Motorola and comes with a 5.96-inch QHD (1440x2560 pixels) display at a pixel density of 493ppi. It is powered by a 2.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor alongside 3GB of RAM, and 32/64GB memory. The Smartphone comes with 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel rear and front cameras respectively.

The Nexus 6 comes with the most recent version of Android—Lollipop. It brings a fresh look thanks to Material Design and a host of new features. The Smartphone weighs 184 grams and measures 82.98 x 159.26 x 10.06mm therefore the only bulk is its 3220mAh battery.

The news came at the expected time keeping up to the Motorola’s statement during the device launch, "Nexus 6 will come to 28 countries (including India) across Europe, Asia-Pacific and North America starting later this year and as we head into Q1"
