Google Launches 'Destination' Feature to Ease out Your Vacation Plans

BENGALURU: Google has come up with it’s yet another new feature called ‘Destinations’ to plan vacations on mobile reports Gadgets 360. The new Destinations feature builds on Google’s existing Flights and Hotel search, ultimately offering details on flights, hotels, and itinerary too. One of the interesting facts about this feature is that users don’t need to be specific about the search as they can start with a broad location and sift through recommendations until they find something good. Furthermore, Google has integrated some of its advanced search features too, like allowing users to specify a certain activity and even picking out ideas that fit with their hobbies and interests.

To begin with Google’s Destinations, one need to simply type in the desired location and click the little blue destination arrow that pops up in the results. From there he/she can explore what’s available and zoom in to other locations through the “explore tab.” By Pressing the “plan a trip” tab will bring up suggestions and prices for flights and hotels.

With ‘Destination’ users can also filter their search further based on their preferred dates, price ranges, or how busy the destination is at different times of the year. It’s even possible to view the estimated cost of your next adventure across a six month period that will to help in sticking to budget. Usually people looking to plan out very specific trips probably won’t find Destinations quite detailed enough, but Google’s ‘Destination’ feature simplifies the tedious process of searching on a mobile device.
