Educating Marketers, Next on Zuckerberg's List

BANGALORE: Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook has always been innovating in his business. Recently, he offered to partner with telecom operators to expand internet access, while lauding the efforts of Indian giant Airtel and other telcos on this front.

Facebook has helped set up with mobile equipment industry's backing two years ago Internet.org, which aims to make basic Internet services available to the nearly two-thirds of the world's population who are not yet connected.

Zuckerberg now extends his plan to provide better resources and tools to help the marketers who deal in the advertising business. With the announcement of 2 education programs, ‘Blueprint’, which is a training program for agencies and brands and ‘Learn How’, an online learning center for small business and new marketers.

And, the best thing about these tools is that we don’t need to sign-up to avail the services of these tools. The agency employees or any individual have the option to opt for any of the relevant courses required for them.

Now the question aroused, why Zuckerberg has taken this initiative all of a sudden and he responds to that with, “Our number one request from agencies and marketing partners has been training and this is Facebook's answer for them. We know there is a lot of information to learn about how to run successful marketing campaigns on Facebook, so the Blueprint eLearning is designed to meet the needs of all audiences, whether you want to learn more about one specific ad tool or if you'd like to learn end-to-end solutions for bringing a brand to life on Facebook," reports Business Insider.
