Box launches App for Windows 10


BENAGALURU: Box, a global major in cloud computing, and file sharing, has now come up with news that will bring joy to the windows 10 users. Yes! The Box has launched new application for windows 10 operating system, as reported by the TECH2.

The latest release will allow the users of box app on windows devices to manage content among devices like PCs, tablets and phones based on the Windows OS.  Apart from file content sharing the app offers secure content and allows previewing Office content with no troubles as well as a wide range of file types, for example Office files, PDFs, images and more. Users can also craft and collaborate on Office Files and be given synchronized update.

The app will also support the multi tasking, with windows phones as the manufacturers have paid attention on this issue, hence the app can resize itself as big or small as per requirement. Further, files can also be pinned from the app storage and screened on Windows 10 Live Tiles. However, as of now the app is available only on windows stores for PC and Tabs, app for the windows phones are soon expected.

This move has ultimately made it easy for enterprises to choose the vendors they want to work with, enabling more productivity and collaboration within the workplace.” in a Box blogpost
